Great until you can longer take them, or afford them. Then you hit the ground in a ball of flames.
The complete menu ! I was wearing a hyrox vest surprised I didn’t get offered test immediately ?!
No I didn’t before anyone insults me to my very core
It’s all cheating, the place was very busy mostly Brits but other Europeans too.
My 70 year old mate awaits his blood test results tomorrow ..
Trt is the future .. apparently
Good Man, but he still has a games left, and unlike the Brits he’s probably earning good dough being an Aussie Olympic Champion and a Freestyle Sprinter, they are like rock stars out there
Lillian Odira :-
2:11 800 at 20.
58 400m runner at 24.
1:54.6 world champ in 800 at 26.
That’s some late development and progression she has shown, make it make sense.
In 2025 alone the top 20 U17 girls and top 5 U15 in the UK have all run faster than her best at 20.
Had two kids in that gap too ![]()
Mum power ent it?
Has a child, comes back to racing in 2024.
Goes from 2:00.81 to 1:54.62 in 18 months.
Nothing to see here… ![]()
Kenya won all the women’s middle / long distance golds in Tokyo. The first time one country has achieved this.
Why is this in the PEDs thread ![]()
Oh I read PED and though Performance Enhancing new Daughters, my mistake ![]()
It must have been the hormones after childbirth; I’ve heard it can have that effect
Makes sense, I always wondered what PEDs stood for.
Not anything to do with Unicorn blood or giving birth to Unicorns then.
We need Tommy on the case, get Britain’s medals back where they belong.
Seriously though, I am not buying that progression.
ETA: Although when it was Froome becoming a world beater at 26, certainly at first, it was mattresses, aero kit, etc. People were coming out with crap like “His bike handling used to be poor because he just rode mountain bikes on rubbish roads”, Yeah because mountain bikers are known for their poor bike handling skills. “he never trained properly before” er… Barloworld?
Mountain bikers often crash on a smooth 3m ramp at the start of a TT
Actaully while we’re on the athletics WC. I haven’t trusted Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone performances for a long time. Rarely races, even less so internationally and coached by Bob Kersee. The latter being the main reason, along with her performances.
Never too old to give PEDs a go
, Michael is 69….
Probably just topping his testosterone up to the level it was in his 20s

Honestly, I’ve been struggling with this “redemption arc” of Bradley Wiggins. Mainly, because I don’t think he’s actually changed, just forced to be in the public eye a lot more because of his bankruptcy.
I’ve heard him on a few things. He’s undoubtedly charismatic, and passionate about cycling which rubs off. But you know when you have that little voice in the back of your mind that says it’s disingenuous….
Sure I appreciate the huge pressure and the sacrifice olympians make (and top pro cyclists) and this can be somewhat ‘damaging’. However, when it comes with the rewards that the likes of BW have had, I have have zero pity for them. Ditto Lance. Prince Harry is the same under different circumstances.
I have little doubt personally that the world’s most celebrated Jamaican sprinter, and the Slovenian GOAT in waiting, have some seismic skeletons.
My hunch is that Covid provided a huge window of opportunity for all sorts of projects to be implemented whilst the world was distracted. Imagine how much easier it would be to do that in a place whith limitless money, limited qualms and a controlling system of goverment.
All these new Chinese swimmers coming out the woodwork and dominating; they dont hide the fact when they do dope; just spin a yarn about a chef dropping a heart tablet when cooking and let off 23 swimmers, but now we have times being obliterated in events times dont get obliterated and beating generational talents by over a second in 100free
