PEDs

Ive always used the gel. I found early on when they were changing the dose to get the level steady each change made me feel a bit odd, its the main male hormone obvs and the up and down wasnt great. Therefore I prefer the gel as its keep things constant. With the injections you get a big rush in one hit that then fades away.

Only minor downside to the gel is its alcohol based so can irritate the skin, but it can go anywhere so just pick another spot. I dont even think about it any more, shower, put deodorant on, put T gel on.

Well the results are in. I’m not in the need T range, it is lower quarter of recommended range. However my LDL cholesterol is high, which is quite surprising! I’ll put some more details in Blackpool.

Well, this.

Is there any link or do they operate in isolation?

Too much T turns to E, too much E turns to T.

This is how folk get caught out.

From some basic reading. It seem very varied. Cholesterol is needed to for T production so super levels isn’t good. Other than that most things seem reference people who are overweight/not active with high cholesterol and low T

Going to have this done in Thailand in March

Just to see, I’m pretty sure they took blood from my mate not a pin prick on his finger ?!

Another Mark Lewis TRT video. Wonder if the reference to “internet forums” might have been prompted by anyone on here?

In honesty, I enjoy his videos and openness about TRT. But then as I’ve previously posted I feel a bit more relaxed about prescribed TRT than many.

A few more boom bust cycles to be had I imagine. His videos are great for like minded people who struggle with the whole relationship with diet and exercise; but how many here have been on this rollercoaster?

Even though I’ve stopped triathlon and Ironman I’ve stayed consistently fit and pretty svelte the last 30 years.

Yep

Had a five sentence discussion with him, he was OK actually

And then another one a few months later 90% hyrox based .. I admire his honesty like other people if you need it to survive have at it I would 100% take it those circumstances

I wouldn’t enter any races though.

He doesnt get near podiums now so nobody will care

While I’m not saying I’m an elite athlete, this article does make for some interesting reading

Also interesting, I was reading an article where Serena Williams was pedaling GLP1s after she’d slimmed down considerably she also had high cholesterol so there is probably something in it!

I think her husband is director of the GLP1 company.

A comment from a mum about her 12 year old son with a 2:01 in the 200yd IM (scy) and 54 in 100yd free who is “small for his age”, septic obvs.

“The endrocrinologist said he’s a late bloomer and his bone age is a year behind. The doc will see if he needs testosterone injections after his next visit.”

So its not just 40 something hyrox wannabes
