Needless to say I skipped that suggestion. No idea where it came from as it seemed normal all ride, and all looks OK on garmin connect with normal numbers.

Yes, agreed. There were only seconds (1 or 2?) in it in the end, and Yates was never going to beat Pog for the stage.

Was it the wind though? I thought Alaphilippe was losing his front wheel on the rocky verge and that caused the rider on his left to go down and start the domino effect.

Yes it was windy but I’m not convinced after seeing the replays.
