I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m agreeing with @joex loads recently.
They looked really well drilled y’day and like they’d actually rode their TT bikes together. (Movistar, I’m looking at you)

Just realised that the finish was in Les Angles today where I did Altriman in '21. Saw Lac de Matemale where swim was & saw glimpses of run route.
Still scarred, still not considering another full.

Turns out I like the commentary more than the visuals… so binned Welsh iPlayer and dumped £6 into a VPN and watching SBS coverage from Aus. It’s not got quite as much off tangent stuff as Eurosport used to have, but its pretty good. Hardly any adverts either.

S4C had too many adverts for my liking.
The Channel 5 highlights are fine, not as good as ITV with Ned and Gary obvs but they did give enough context and narrative around the pictures they show to tell the story of the stage. The studio is a green screen abomination though

Can I ask which vpn you’re using.
The one within Opera browser. Ive got a standalone PC with very little on it - so didnt really need to worry about any security risks associated with it. Also - cheap

The C5 highlights are basically the TNT coverage with a bit of studio analysis afterwards and some TNT on-site commentary

The C5 highlights aren’t as good as the YouTube TNT highlights.
C5 is way less in depth
I don’t know about the editing or the post-race analysis, but the in-race commentary on C5 is the TNT commentary
