My whoosh took the license for the egames and eTri, I seem to remember.
Forgot it was on today, though it was tomorrow.

Marathon block week 6. Not everything always goes to plan however, sometimes that’s a good thing..
On my ‘marathon simulation day’ we woke to absolutely dreadful weather. I can’t lie it crossed my mind to delay the session but I knew I cant change the day of London marathon and that I would learn more this way, good or bad.
I had 30k at marathon feel/ LT1 so to come out with 3:05/km in the end, was not too bad.
Hard sessions build mental strength, the more obstacles you face in training mean many less come race day. 3 weeks to go to London, let’s get itttt!
Funny, I’m sh!t but that is what I told myself during todays session. Do it, if similar happens in the event you’ve been there before, that breeds confidence and resilience
I know Steph and was out in Lanza with her in March. Top swimmer and did well in the Zwift Tri academy and an AG world champ at 70.3
Zwift is capped at 30fps on ATV and iOS so makes sense. On my M4 Pro i have it on ultra sitting at 120 even in big groups so looks really good in comparison.
PTO Singapore Men’s
Swim looking good, competitive. Nice field.
On the scenic shots…Wish I’d found a job in Singapore 25yrs ago
Its very hot, very humid, and whilst modern, clean and tidy it is sterile. Not my cup of tea but not a bad place to be either.
They have their parkrun around 5am. A colleague did it whilst on a business trip many years ago.
Good race, looked tight for a while
Stapley, Luis, and Funk way way off the pace sadly
I was just looking through the Lincoln 10km results, looking for mates’ times and saw that Olivia Mathias was the fastest female. A Joseph Yee was just a couple of places behind her. Coincidence?
Joe is Alex’s younger brother, decent runner and awesome cyclist.
Rapid course that!
I ran a 39:18 in my first ever 10km race there
When I saw the photo of the three of them on insta my first thought were that the fella on the left is probably a cyclist from those tan lines.
Humble brag
Of course
HUMBLE. I am not
Is it this Sunday that he’s running the London marathon?
If so, anyone fancy a sweepstake? Winner gets to drink a 660ml can of Budweiser.
I’m going to say 2 hours 11 minutes and 53 seconds.
Yeah, this weekend, I think he might sneak under 2:10?
So:
jeffb: 2:09:59 ?
fruit_thief: 2:11:53
Place you’re bets ladies and gentlemen
2:15. Hope I’m wrong.
Still would be a cracking marathon time. Anyone know the current best marathon time for a pro triathlete? Think there have been a few in the 2h20s but have there been any in the 2h10s?
