Did you see Vincent Luis did his forst 70.3 yesterday. Finished in 2nd and qualified for WC despite being hit by a car in some way towards the end of the bike! Pictures have him looking pretty scuffed up. Fair play, for just jumping back on and then cracking on with the run!!!
Yes, not only that he was sent off course, hence ended up down a road with live traffic. So some time loss as well as picking himself up and running after.
Even then, only then beaten by the greatest of all time…
Could be quite a battle between Jan, the Norwegians, Luis, possibly AB at the next 70.3 WC to finish a couple of minutes behind Lionel

I was watching a race on FB whilst on the trainer and wrote in the comments that “it looks like Lionel needs a poo” just as Dede (I think) was reading FB comments and heard her stop and chuckle.

Just catching up on 70.3 Dubai. Crazy fast, impressive from Marten Van Riel, won in 3:26. Blummenfelt went backwards on the bike so probably some issues.
Laura Phillip into T2 with Daniela then ran to the W.

Yeah i read Blum had a puncture, but he said he wasn’t in shape to have gone for the win regardless, as he’s trying to peak for the WC’s.
I was looking at the women’s times. Great run from LP after a hard swim and bike with Ryf.

Oceanside 70.3 is live on Outside TV this weekend, will try to line it up with a turbo session
Interested to see what Knibb and Ryf do, and how much intrigue Sanders/Long/Kanute/Appleton/Von Berg can generate.
IM South Africa on Sunday as well, Skipper going in that. Not sure if that’s a Facebook live job.
