Hi Anna. There are a few of us women around. A rare breed in these parts but those of us that are here make our voices heard

Welcome to the forum and thread - one of our more controversial ones at times

Rait’s work is exemplary, but as we sometimes lament here, the quiet athletes that simply get on with it don’t get the rewards that mouthy Insta celebrities do. But as I learned decades ago, advertising makes the world go round.

Hi awildt, thanks for the reply. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Anna, welcome to active posting in the Forum! I hope you can get some value from your time here :slightly_smiling_face: What part of Germany do you live in?

This is so true joex. Rait has really perfected every aspect of this challenge - he’s living in a 60/60 bubble of eat sleep tri repeat. I’ve said it before, if he could learn anything from IC, it would be how to sell himself. At the end of this challenge Rait is lucky if he’s not out of pocket.

Hi Jorgan, I’m a British ex-pat living near Stuttgart.

Are you enjoying it, all that beer & sausage? DE is never one of those places that appealed to me.

I thought you loved it over there?

Your response is supposed to be

so question, 6mths in Germany, Iraq, Falklands or South London , your choice

I love living in Germany, been here for over 20 years! I grew up in North London and now I live in a little town with a forest at the back of my house with lots of trails. Our town has a huge lake for swimming and we have a great network of cycle paths. Even have a 50m heated outdoor swimming pool nearby.

Sounds very familiar! I lived in Rheindahlen for a year learning German, then did 3.5 years in Erding which had all the amenities you mention. Obviously everything was better than B-W, because it was BAYERN :beers: :mountain_snow:

Is it a summer or winter Tour in the Falklands?

BW is a great “Land” to live in, but alas as a rock climber who would like to move to Allgäu one day I have to agree with you, Bayern has the mountains and thus trumps BW - and Erdinger is lecker :yum: :beers:

Its much more friendly here than ST. Quite a few of us dabble in Ultra’s, ive been getting into the Ultra world (Running, Cycling and Triathlon) over the past 2 years… I think that is where my future ambitions lie

As for thread in ST on Rait (Its very well behaved compared with normal ST)… unbelievable is all I can say. I never got into Iron Cowboy’s publicity stunt, but Rait is incredible

By the way, Switzerland is definitely the place to live
