Roth Swim

I was 10 places higher in my AG this year at Frankfurt due to it being non-wetsuit.

Obviously stronger swimmers generally benefit more from non-wetsuit swims, but is there any other characteristics that play a significant role in why some people seem to benefit more than others, eg body shape?
Was part of the thing with the 2008/9 banned swim suits that some people clearly benefitted more than others, generally bigger athletes

Possibly wearing a wetsuit smooths out the lines of larger people and squeezes them in. Mostly wetsuits are instant technique fixers for crap swimmers. The main thing that will slow a poor swimmer down is sinky legs as the drag it creates is huge. Wetsuits can all but eliminate that instantly.

Not sure about the tech suits. Make sense that they added buoyancy so would suit larger more sinky people.
