Selling a bike in the 3rd Millenium

A bit more pricey but if it floats your boat

Tyre width might be important. Have you got a spare not on a wheel to defend yourself with?

19mm? Thiner the better, like cheese wire, quickly loop it around their neck if they start anything.

32mm wont be any good unless to want to pummel them with a lot of rubber.

Why not, I’d probably have a pint with some of you.

Well one of the first messages was for one of the helmets in the bundle.

Bike buyers head was about twice the size of mine, so he didn’t take it. Offered it FOC to the guy who was interested.

Second person today to give me an ETA, then let me know a few mins late. Both apologised for being late.

Who knew there was normal, polite people on the internet (present company excluded ).

Who gives a f@ck. go and vote reform - or at least do something about it - so we can at least stuff your nuclear subs down Caldecott lake

What the fuck are you on about? What’s the point in this post?
If you just want to rage personally at people for no good reason (and making absolutely no sense) I’m sure there are plenty more forums where rabid Internet warriors love it. Grow up.

Can’t see the post (thankfully) but your reply tells me enough. :+1:t2:

That’s a rather harsh reply to @mw22 's post about the polite people who bought his bike

You have to hand it to him though. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Even I moved to disc brakes and wider tyres years ago; obviously the two are linked. I now ride 36mm Strada Biancas; the perfect summer go-almost-anywhere tyre. I’d go tubeless if I could be arsed to set them up.

The luddite has spoken.

I sold my FiLs old MTB on the internet. Guy came on time. Paid cash. No haggling. Lovely.

I think if you advertise well, avoid FaceAche, and are honest, its all good.

Chap i bought the Sonder MTB off was nearly in tears though
He really didnt want to sell, think he had been told to reduce his collection!!!

Meh. I got a nearly new bike at massive discount thats enormously fun to ride downhills fast!!!

I’ve got a bunch of ancient bike crap to get rid of. I might chance it on eBay next weekend. 2014 Veloce anyone? Didn’t think so.
