what no squats
Personally I dont subscribe to that. DLs hit the legs massively. They do hit the lats a little but not that much. In a PPL split I would always put DLs in with Legs. Plenty of people do put them in the Pull.
Suppose it doesnt really matter unless you do Pull and Legs on consecutive days in which case the DLs should really be in Legs
I do a bit of a hybrid (in a perfect week) where I do PPL Tue, Wed, Thur then a variation of Push & Pull on Sat & Sun (which I call CST & LBB) with Deadlifts on Sunday to add some Leg work on that day.
Well, I didn’t quite go that far but I was walking like John Wayne and both calves cramped up when I got out of the van at home
Bit down on everything, as you’d expect after a month off, bailed after 6x120kg on Squats.
Finally taken my squat to 125 kg 1RM at 80 kg bw. It was 112 about 8 months ago. Been working on my strict/military press for Athx which is 10 RM. Hoping I can scrape 50-52.5 for 10.
Deadlift and bench need some work, but stress and working on the ergs and my running as well so can’t be doing it all!
