Gym sessions have been a bit hit & miss recently, averaging about 2/3 a week rather then the 5 I was doing pretty consistently last year. Usually a Push & Pull session & maybe Arms or Legs/Ancilliaries if I mange a 3rd.
Interestingly I’ve set 2 PBs (for reps) on the bench recently with 10x100kg & 8x110kg which shows I’m still improving (maybe more) on less training, roughly once a week per bodypart.
Maybe at the age of 56 I was doing too much (wouldn’t go as far as to say overtraining) and could have made better progress off less.
