TDF - As it happens

Ewan was overlapping his front wheel and clipped it. Looks like Ewan but a tiny error just a huge impact.

Merlier. Won the first stage at the Giro as well

I only just swapped Ewan into my team for JA for today and the next couple of sprint stages and he took out my other sprinter Sagan. FFS

Isnt it like this every year?

I thought they said Ewan lifted his front wheel? Bit hard to hear, got an ad-hoc maths lesson going on in the background :man_facepalming:

Bit harsh for a top level sprinter! Was the guy Cav beat for the stage win in Belgium the other week

It was a joke.

I thought Sagan was in prime position and just about to open the taps too. I proper yelled at the TV when that happened. Hope Ewan is ok but it’s not looking good. Sagan limped over the line eventually I think but didn’t look injured.

There have always been crashes but it seems to be worse every year

Think I need to keep my Fantasy Team powder dry for the next few days though; unless anyone is a DNS.

Looks like G came in 21 secs down?

G did finish with Pogacar, 26 secs down on the winner.

Carapaz finished with same time as the winner.

Pogacar & Carapaz are the 'winner’s today.

De Gent just said in the interview that Caleb’s collar bone is gone

If he’s out and Cav is a maybe and Sagan is always up there but not normally powerful enough for the win. Who’re the big sprinters left in the game?

Merlier, Colbrelli, Demare, Bouhanni (sp x 4!)

Ah! Sorry!

Colbrelli, Demare, Cav, Merlier, Bouhanni, Philipsen……

Haig out as well

Dirty Sagan barged poor wee Ewan who then clipped the wheel in front of him & that was that :frowning:.

I’m in the market for a sprinter.
