The 2020 weigh-in thread

Id forgotten Id dipped below 78, but that was a month ago. 78.7kg today a week after my birthday, so still good.

Graph still showing minor body fat loss and muscle gain anyway, and Im feeling good which is probably the main thing.

Trending down again for me.

71.6kgs this morning. Need to keep weighing in the morning now for consistency. I’m not too bothered about the actual number as long as its below 74. But it’s nice to see it dropping without any discernable effort. Though our evening meals have mostly cut out any stodge, loads of veggies etc. Still eating crisps and chocolate and loads of bread. But that’s never gonna stop! :joy:

Must update my zwift for the gainzzzzz

Stuck at 90.5kg for about 10 days now, down from 99kg 10 weeks ago.
I go on holiday tomorrow and have 4 weeks until Ventoux, I suppose given the amount of drinking I do with my brother-in-law I’ll be happy to maintain but would prefer to get there at 87ish!

70 kg … ish consistently now for some weeks.

Hitting better form too, just completed a PT session that I’ve failed twice previously, bike power stillcrap though

Okay, I’m 185.5cm, or 6ft 1in, hovering a few years under M40.
Used to weigh in at just under or over 70kg a decade ago, when times used to mean something to me.

Pre-lockdown weight to today

The just had this lunch (worked out at 40p per portion)

Using a fancy plate doesn’t hide the crime that sits upon it

And whay you on about lbs anyway?! Have you not been following kms vs. miles thread!?

(i had a delicious pork and cider pasty and a latte for lunch from the local deli as i was in town getting a haricut :yum:)

These are our non-fancy plates, they barely fit in the dishwasher and they’re too large, anyhow - that’s a lunch the Gods would be proud of.

1lb = ~3,500calories =~ 500calories per day deficit.
Makes maths easy, which was my reasoning for using KM for sport (5km, 10km, 40km Oly, 90km 70.3, 180km IM, etc)

I know not what this word means?

is that a new snapchat filter?!

i went back to boring old short back and sides. I couldn’t bare to ask an actual hairdresser to cut the mull in properly!

I hope it’s not windy at Helvellyn or you’ll be over to Grasmere if the wind gets in your hair

I actually tried the scales in the gym earlier, looked like I was just under 75kg with my trainers on as well. Pleased with that if it’s right but I hadn’t eaten much this morning.

It’s probably going back on though now.

There’s about a pound of hair there.
Cultivated since January.
Going for the Cancellara/Sagan look

Why did you not pile all your lunch on one plate rather than making two dirty?

And why did one plate get a load less cheese but three times the quiche?

I thought northern men didn’t eat quiche?

So many questions.

One plate is my wife’s, the other mine.
Kweesh is delicious.

But Northerners love pie, right? What’s quiche if not an egg pie?

Poet’s explained this to me before, needs pastry on every side, or it’s not a pie.

It is, it’s one of the only meals where I eat something different from the rest of the family, whenever they make pizza, I eat a quiche.

I fucking love quiche. But I’m a Southern shandy drinking bastard.

yep i’m in on the great quiche debate.

I’ll happily nail a whole quiche on my own, no worries. Great food on an ultra!

Don’t like quiche & not too fussed about pizza.
