That’s frighteningly SlowTwitchy…
Yeah, I feel a bit dirty.
The scary thing is, with that one extra piece of info (that you’ve now deleted I note), I’m confident I now know as well
It’s quite worrying how much data there is out there now to piece all this together
I’ve removed more now; I feel bad!
Yeah, I know
But you’ve gotta create the illusion, haven’t you?
@Jorgan does have my address from when I bought a tubular tyre from him, so it’s not really that sleuth like!
Pretty sure I know his exact address and what he paid for his house, too.
I don’t have his address, but I hope he’s got a new kitchen, too.
He also did an awesome job on his front door
PM me…I’ll tell you if you’re right
A bit of Strava and Rightmove/Gov.uk is well easy, right?
Right ballpark, but not sure you have the right crib.
Shadows and misdirection … don’t trust him @Poet
Pretty sure that’s your front door, with the in the drive, from before you moved in?
Also, I can welcome @stenard to my club of super stalkers, well done sir!
Piecing together strava and house price information, he got it bang on
Bravo that you figured out my source! I’d say from the strava security limit you have set, it’s too small a radius. It enabled me to lock down to a handful of streets pretty quickly.
Yeah, but then I miss some segments
For the burglars, there are far richer pickings to be had around the corner.
EDIT: Changed zone to 1km now, too
Ha, I’ve just maximised my privacy zone but 1km still doesn’t cut it really.
1km? There must be 200 properties within 100m of my front door
Got it right, he edited my original post so that the general public can’t tell where he lives.
The super stalker lives on - I might send him a creepy Christmas card now…
Yeah, you were giving a bit too much away young man; editing your message saves me flagging your ass! Probably my own fault for blabbing too much on an old thread - now deleted
What’s a Christmas Card?
That’s why the Queen’s not on Strava. Plus she’d automatically be QOM on everything.
Yeah, it’s a bit less of a concern in London! There’s 20 flats in the same building as me!
I couldn’t give my chest freezer away, I had it out on my drive for a few days while I was emptying stuff. One morning while I was filling out the council form I noticed it had gone!
Saved me £60 odd quid in collection fees
If you had a decent sized car and some strength, you could just take it to the Tip. That’s what I did to our old fridge freezer. But then I’m well #hench
That’s what I did for my old table and chair set, except I listed it on my tri club fb page. There’s always people moving into new homes, so a freebie table and chairs was always likely to get a taker. And as you say, it solved me the faff and cost of having to hire a zipvan to take it down the tip.
