Do they not charge you for disposing of a fridge/freezer in an environmentally sound manner? I would have thought that the days of it going straight to landfill are long gone.
Not at our local recycling centre. You have to be registered there (or rather your car does). I guess all councils differ.
try Freegle if you want to shift stuff that still has some life but you CBA fleabaying or taking to the tip. you’ll be amazed what you can get rid off. when we ripped out our old kitchen I Freegled all the old cupboard units which were OK but not that modern. they went within a couple of days. also a broken washing machine that I replaced - fella reckoned he could repair and flog on.

quiet day at work?
I’m sat on my own here at the moment, and was laughing into my hand when the ‘I hope you like pain’ guy came on; even with no sound.
i did do a little ‘lol’ myself watching that.

This is my shit tip of a garage, actually got a couple of bikes at work and the TT is in the loft, and one in the car!
Ignore the mobility scooter, it’s my mother’s as she hasn’t got much room in her granny flat atm.

I like the heavy duty Karcher, a nod to the Dyson but I’m disappointed in the corded mower(s). For shame.

Here is mine. Canyon speedmax (previous model) on the first generation kickr, facing a 2009 iMac. Graffiti was an artist I got in to do the design and I LOVE it. I gave him very loose remit (crows or ravens, go for it). Various race bibs on show, but this is the garage so only I ever see them!
Under the helmet is my Wales 2019 bib, not yet posted to the door. To the right of the turbo is my Specialized Tarmac Pro 2019 model. Love it!

Love the bike(s) setup, and obviously the artwork though. 
The garden tool is a plastic child’s spade and makes the perfect door wedge. The BBQ fuel is because burnt meat is double yummy!!!

It’s some old cheapo thing from Aldi or somewhere, been waiting for it to break and get something like that but it keeps going! The garden really isn’t much bigger than the garage though so don’t need anything flash.
I might keep the scooter for when I need it in a few years
