I feel your pain…
I’m sleeping less and less and waking up easier than ever. I was always an incredibly light sleeper but able to go back to sleep quite easily. I’ve noticed a decline in that ability in the last year.
Combination of factors I think. My back is what it is but migraines are becoming more frequent and this stomach pain at night really keeps me awake but at least that’s sporadic.
Mostly it’s legacy stuff around Mrs FP’s cancer treatment, I know she is worried about it returning, therefore I worry for her.
The trials and tribulations of being a full time parent and watching them grow with equal amounts of joy/pride and fear/trepidation.
I cannot sleep on my right hand side for more than 15 mins due to the lasting effects of my big crash 17 years ago! When I roll over, I’ll think about something at work for 10 seconds and very often find myself wide awake, still thinking about it an hour later. ![]()

DIY too. I’ve been awake since 3am visualising hanging a new door in the lounge. It would have been quicker and easier just to do it as soon as I woke up.
Felt like I’ve been in a bit of a hole recently & Garmin seems to agree.
Sacked off my regular lunchtime run/cycle.
That’s a bit better.
