I had a quick look today at mine , even doubled check my HK100 time , just in case I misread it but alas nothing for me this time . To console myself I am just in the processes of entering the The Coastal Challenge in Costa Rica in Feb next year . Dont usually do multi day races but the adventure option looks doable .
Tried to enter the race a couple of years ago , but then the pandemic hit .
But love Costa Rica after cycling through there a few years ago . Iāve entered the Adventure category rather than the expedition, but still think it will be hard
@tunster its not a qualifier but I am entered into TP100 . I also quite fancy the Javelina Jundred (Iām not desperate to get abroad next year honest!).
Thanks for sharing that was lovely . Her partner Justin Grunwald has been through some tragedy losing his wife to a rare cancer at the age of 32 , so its lovely to see him have some happiness back in his life .
If I had managed to turn up and complete in 2019 would have been the Grand Slam for me but work was a nightmare for a couple of months so couldnāt even bring myself to drag myself to the start line.
If you do it, book yourself a room for Sunday night and dinner at the Miller of Mansfield - quality small hotel and top grub (chef used to work with Heston at the Fat Duck).
Kevin Sinfield starting a 101 mile run from Leicester to Leeds this morning in aid of MND.
Interestingly heās doing it in a backyard ultra style, 7km each hour with aim to complete in 24 hours.
BBC giving it a lot of coverage on Breakfast TV (theyāve been following Rob Burrowās story for a while), not sure if thereās any ongoing coverage or tracking, Iāll keep my eye out.
