TC going well in the Hardmoors 55, perfect conditions though, tracks were bone dry.

Good stuff

Second lady is in our club, know her reasonably well. I’ve nicknamed her the terminator, she just doesn’t stop and won’t give in!

Really built for this though, small and light and a reasonable descender.

No sure if anyone is following MDS? They have just finished the long stage. So with just the marathon to go there is around 3 mins between the first three runners. Not sure whether it has been this close before

I have taken a quick look as a friend is doing it.

Hadn’t realised it was on TBH. It’s one of those races I have very little interest in. (maybe because I hate sand )

Yes we are following a couple of people. One of them Charlie has only just done that Ultra in South America, mad!!!

I’m not sure how many times I have pressed the refresh key over the past few days

Do it! Very runnable for a fell race so marathon training will see you in good stead

Forgot it had started. There is an ex Para doing it wearing 20kg body armour (on top of what you have to carry anyway).

On May 14, to celebrate my 50th birthday, I will be doing an impromtu trail run over Zugerberg, Wildspitz, Rigi and Pilatus. 65km and 4500m. Anyone fancy a weekend trip to Switzerland for a fun run? It will be a social pace run, but will certainly be tough

I may need to look for an extra 500m elevation

Lovely idea, but I haven’t got that kind of freedom. Have a great day.

Due to availability of running partners now May 1st… Long weekend in UK

Woody Felton heading towards half way through his 430 mile run across Scotland and back…

I tried to link to FB…but search for autistic runner woody

When I’m trail running, in my head I’m seeing this:

The rest of the world sees this  :see_no_evil:

My plan is to be skinny by mid August - but I have been saying that for the last 20 odd years :grinning:
