Just had an email that says I was successful in the Race to the Stones ballot. It’s July 8th which is not long after SDW100 but it is a Western States qualifier!

hmmm

As a qualifier RTTS is so much easier - I think you just have to finish under 17 hrs (IIRC) rather than just finishing the SDW

I still love RTTS - the Ridgeway is one of my favourite rotes (despite being a bit bland in a couple of spots)

Yes it’s sub 17hrs. I DNFd Stones 3 yrs back, so you know, redemption!

Plus I’d have twice the WS tickets then, so only about 100 to go

Though the RTTS website has the sign the wrong way on the front page! Oops

Even better

Looked at the T&Cs of my ballot entry and it says that I can nominate one person to also get in for the price of £135 ( slight discount).

I haven’t 100% decided myself yet but any takers?

Trying to persuade Mrs T to give it a whirl - I think I have planted a seed - might see you there :grinning:

In for Stones. Weirdly showing as entered in Active but had no confirmation mail at all!

Mud Crew will accept my Endure 24 result for Arc 100. Need to decide today. I know I said I didn’t like SW Coast Path but ā€˜it’s the Arc’ :man_facepalming:

Agree with @p00key, do it. Isn’t it one of those races that you’ve been wanting to do?

I hope so. I have Wendover Woods 50 mile in Nov as my last race of the year.
