I was just looking at that - looks good , an alternative to the UTMB races.
Is the Centurion 200 mile winter race. (or whatever it was) on this year?

Yeah, 200 is proper nutter territory! I can’t even compute.
So I seem to have won myself an entry to the Ankor Ultra in Cambodia for Jan 2024. Its been about 12 years since I was last there, you get to run through Ankor Wat . There are different distances but I’m going to go for the 64km option . So thats me now motivated for the next 2.5 months. Is this where I mention I also won an outside sauna earlier on this year so at least I can get that heat training in.

Congrats on getting into your race it sounds fantastic, but how the hell do you win a sauna?

lol - it generally coincided from when I was training for WSER and found it a pain to go to the sauna at the gym after running. Saw a post on insta for raffle tickets and bought one.
Was more worried it would’nt fit in our small back garden .

That’s kind of comforting. You see these competitions, but I don’t know of anybody that’s ever won anything significant.
I guess the best one I know is Mrs GB won a grand or so on the postcode lottery. I’d consider that a reasonable win actually. Bought us a new mattress after all.

No idea but if you google outdoor sauna’s there are lots of different ones out there.
