They just did a piece on BBC Breakfast on Jasmin and contacted her for a comment. They said, due to all the heavy breathing over the course of the event, she’d lost the ability to speak so could only respond by text

Yeah it was a good little event as always. Not many people but a super chilled and relaxed vibe.
Winner did 26 laps in the 24 hrs. So think around 145kms with 6,500m ascent! Top lady did really well. She was a lap or two up on the top 2 guys, but called it a day with a few hours to go as she said she was in bits.
Mudfest as you can imagine. So kudos to all!

Sleep deprivation and hallucinations are common though, and the main cause of ghost sightings!

I’ve had a couple of good ones. The scariest one was when I didn’t want to disturb the ‘witch’ that was hunched over on the side of the trail. I did look for another way around, then realised it was a bush.
