Sorry to see that. I see āno refundsā and youāre all deferred to 2027 (something which probably wouldnāt fly under UK law). Do you know how what volume of cash has been taken across the weekendās events?

I canāt watch the Parkrun ones, they are annoying. I have watched a few others in the past and even been interviewed by him twice.
I started to go off him when he pissed and moaned about missing the Ben Nevis cut off (twice) and he also seems to take umbridge at any other YTer turning up to a race that heās at.
He was also becoming a complete āyou donāt need gelsā ranty twat. Then he got some sponsorship Ā£Ā£ from Rebel and guess what, gels are ok again (but only those ones, apparently! 
)
I will say, every time Iāve spoken with him off camera, heās been a nice enough chap but I havenāt spoken with him in a few years now.

If everyone is deferred until next year Iām guessing thereāll be no new entries so looks like itās off my todo list for 2027!
Half wondered if they might follow what they did in 2020 when they let people defer over the next few years?

Places might come up from successful chargebacks, depending on applicable contract law. Worth keeping an eye open.
Seems clear that they donāt have event cancellation insurance, so personally Iād not be enthusiastic about the risk anyway.
