Have said this before. It really is the devil’s distance. I HATE 10kms!

What’s odd… local club time trial event was 5 miles (SORRY SORRY :speak_no_evil: 8km) - LOVED that. Favourite distance.

3km is the best distance I think.

That, or 80-100km.

Or maybe is it 16 centimetres? Or twice the distance to the sun? :grinning:

the nice thing about 10km is it’s worth getting out of bed for, but it’s not going to cripple you for a week

40-60 minutes running unless your particularly excitable or laid back.

That’s fast!

Leg a bit sore so no run and a double session in the pool for me instead. Was too hot and too busy, called someone a w***** for their non-existent etiquette, managed my 2750m total, and went and bought a pack of two yum yums from Greggs.

Don’t even know what that is… but it’s making me want one.

When I’m el presidente, the non metrics will be the first up against the wall (equal first with horse riders  )

Will the non metric horse riders get first dibs on the wall? Or is there just parity

Started the week with a little circuit
1 km run at 12 kph straight into 40 chest to the floor hyrox burpees x 4.

All burpees were completed unbroken in
3:10
3:25
4:02
4:31 obviously a steady pace ( smashed)
Started the 5 th run with a 183 bpm heart rate so went to
1 km run @ 12 kph and 1 km row at 4:30
X4 which was less painful.

Total time 1:48:55.

Burpees are the devils work.

Tallest to shortest get first dibs, measured in hands

That’s even worse than at first glance. Imperials have no business using 2, 5, 10 or 20 at any point for any thing.

They should stick to their 3,4,6,12…1760 “easily divisible” nonsense.
