Climbing Sat and Sun and 1hr hilly trail run this morning. Legs felt good again today and even managed to put in some effort running up the hills ![]()
It’s bloody cold and grey again. But I need to get out for a run to start the week with a positive mindset. Or it’ll be all too easy to settle back into laziness.
Didn’t achieve any of these. A bit more cycling and swimming maybe.

Age is just a number as many of us on here have proved several times, but that is truly amazing !
Believe me some people would !
@APM has done a run at 4:34PM
You okay, hun?
Busy day. Working 6-4, so jumped on the treadmill shortly after.
5km run. 1.5% incline. Each km 0.5kpm quicker than the last.
Not someone to do things by halves, threw myself into the FRR world tour on Zwift (16 days of 1 - 2 hours ftp level intensity every day), but since that wasn’t enough, did a swim camp in the middle, and an ultra run. My Fatigue on TP is now -81 and Garmin says my training readiness is 1/100. Feels good to be back, but need to stop digging that hole
Thats more than Ive done in the last 12 months.

Also with a Garmin 1/100 readiness
Just a bit of yoga today and an early night
Rob joined ZZP a month or so ago, I’ve ridden with him a couple of times when I was recovering from Covid and he was way stronger than me… lust lulling him into a false sense of security, now I am fully recovered and getting fitter I will hold a much better account of myself
He’s a good bloke and his size makes him a good wheel to sit behind to get some recovery in!
Gym first thing.
5k row.
3 sets each of bridges/sumo squats, military press/press ups, side planks.
2hrs 6m on the turbo last night
3800m in the bath this morning
3 x 200m easy
2km drills with fins
8 x 100m P&P
