Training - What Training?!

60;40 threw ball at the wall rather than just into the air. That’s a skill by itself. I’m not so good at it and most were no way high enough. Should get a bit more height when throwing whilst pushing up from the squat.

Did a final set of 30 with a 9Kg ball as well.

Gym now has a ski-erg and a sled for pushing (no rope so can’t immediately use it to pull as well). Also a number of rechargeable massage guns. Never got around to buying one of those.

If there is a Hyrox in London in April/May then I’m in.

10.6 mile run - city centre hill randonee with a few little extra loops, always ending with Gardener street :face_vomiting:

5°C out and damp roads and forest tracks, but still lovely to be out.

Completed the same “killa”
Circuit as last week… it really is quite nasty hr was 170 plus for the last two rounds, 14 rounds done which is one more than last week, total time 45 mins, an hour unbroken before the new year is the target

2 mins rest

15 mins @ 10 kph
That’s two hours at 10 kph in total this week, hr varies at ten mins in from 122-136 but this is zone 2 running while my Achilles eases up, no pain at all today !

12 hour total.
Plan seems to be going ok.

9hrs again

Epoc Load tells a different story though

These swims are exhausting

It’s a pity Garmin doesn’t recognise weightlifting as anaerobic. Seems a bit of a no brainer.

Got a swim booked tonight & had a more productive training week so won’t have to drag the wife out for a walk this evening to hit the 10hrs/500TSS .

That’s a lot of training!

Nothing week for me again. Only 3 runs for 38kms. But I’m just chillin’ in off season. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve been on a bike though.

Next few weeks are looking pretty manic with work and family stuff and holidays. So gonna just take it easy for the rest of the year, and get back on it in Jan I think.

Yeah another write off for me too. No worries though, I clearly need the rest. Tomorrows another day etc…

79 TSS from 4.5 hours cycling?

I don’t measure HR or power on my commutes so don’t get a TSS figure & the 2 or 3 other cycles I’m doing are just recovery spins to clear out the run legs.

I’m enjoying my running atm, perhaps after Christmas I’ll pick up my cycling a bit.

10h training week last week for me. A bit down on where I’d like to be but my morning alarm failed to wake for the first 4 days of the week until I checked and found out it had been turned off.

Actually managed 2 swims as well including 2.4km in 45mins. Not quick but a decent start to getting back to swimming.

And did another long (4hr +) turbo session on Saturday morning 213W (2.7W/kg) @108bpm.
