Impromptu family sportive this afternoon, 3 generations were represented and we ended up doing 62km over the Somerset Levels.
It was definitely not @Poet compliant as we stopped multiple times including for a pint at the Duke of York in Barrington and for ice-creams at the Coop in South Petherton, not to mention a stop for junior #3 to remove his boxers behind a hedge because they were chaffing (I know, I know, but you can only explain these things so many times). Plus some walking might or might not have occured climbing out of Montecute. Average pace 17kmh & 90W but Dad’s longest ride for a good few years & he enjoyed it.

Was feeling sluggish but forced myself out for some running reps, probably 14c cooler than when I ran on Thursday last week, and a small shower.
Managed 3 * 2k and 2 * 1k just under 4:30k pace so about what I aimed for.
Then tried a swim which was terrible!
