8.6km running back from Otter’s school at 8:45am, it was bloody hot, and I have to go back at 3pm… it’s gonna be ludicrously hot, and my garmin already said I’m now unproductive from it.

I’ve just eaten my breakfast in the garden (sorry poet) I was sweating. Had to come back inside

9.2km, subscribing to the @FatPom method of steady and enjoy it!

Hotter ‘n hell, and 181m of climbing made it tough.

Spectacular view over Windermere from the grounds of an NT castle at the half way point made it all worth while though!

Did you noisily clatter the spoon against the bowl… :kissing_smiling_eyes:

I debated eating my breakfast in the garden today, too.

But “Business Man” was already outside “businessing”

Couldn’t you get some sort of loud electronic voice to say something like “external microphone connected, audio recording commenced” within a couple of minutes of him hitting the garden in the mornings? That would certainly encourage the average “businessman” (and anyone else probably) back into the house for any telephone calls they were wanting to make.

you got super lucky with the weather :sunny:

Might have been!…. that railing etc doesn’t look familiar, but it was at a ferry terminal across to Bowness… it was Wray Castle. I was however not paying full attention at that point due to seeing double, as they have a habit of building castles on top of very big hills!

I did then point out that the one at the top probably shouldn’t go any further….because you know….levers, fulcrums, physics

Yeah a touch warm out there today. Just got back from an easy hours ride. Melting at every set of lights

Yeah I’m not looking forward to putting on my wet sweaty kit and then riding home again in an hour. :cold_sweat:

Going to be a warm headwind the whole way as well!

Embrace it - soon be winter. Long way home for me - bonus that 2 mates are passing by to jump on the ride with!
