i loved my time in germany…treated better there than in the UK, great culture, stunning cities, gorgeous countryside, great outdoor activities, a short hop over the border to ski in austria, mutual dislike of the turks (only kidding)…what’s not to like?

Ive got a good German friend, funny fckr , hes a trader originally from Frankfurt so utterly loaded. I asked him why he would leave somewhere so nice and he said “Germany is nice but Germans are Kuntz” i said but youre German, “exactly they are like me”
I havent seen my mate since Covid as he moved back to FF to be close to his family.

I’ll delete it myself if it offends anyone, i just found his comment funny as we were drunk and German/his humour is self deprecating like us. This thread reminded me of him, think i need a trip out there , though maybe not FF, rather further south where the beer is better 
Im not sure we’ve ever had a night out without it getting very, very messy
Ive found most Germans to be pretty close to us Brits in attitudes and humour, just far more efficient
