Can we have a “None of them - Bah Humbug” option please.
They’re all tripe!
Where’s Kelly Clarkson? Justin Bieber? Michael Buble? Mariah Carey? Brenda Lee? Wham? Ariana Grande?
If we are being serious, my favourite is Bethlehem Down by Peter Warlock. Lots of arrangements, but I like the simple piano + male solo voice version best. Love some of the harmonies created by the piano in the 2nd and 3rd verses.
No Fairytale of New York? Travesty
Glad there is no Buble though, cant stand him. I like swing but why listen to Buble when you can have Frank, Dean, or Sammy
“Mistress For Christmas” AC/DC
Nice, for serious choral pieces I have to go with this:
I’m not sure I’ve heard Fairytale of New York at all this year.
I know there was the debate over whether they should use the version with the sanitised lyrics last year. Has it been completely cancelled this year?
There is that debate every year for the last few, most play the sanitised version. I havent heard it yet but I dont listen to the radio so will only hear it when I play it
Radio 2 was playing the original version last year and Radio 1 the sanitised version
I’ve had Radio 2 on quite a bit this year, as much as anything to provide some background noise for the dogs, but I don’t remember hearing them play it yet.
There was an outcry from folks playing Whamaggedon when Anita Rani played Last Christmas without warning on 3 December
Y’all need to read the damn list again, and then knock it to me
Well the link didn’t work but the answer is ‘Santa Claus you c*nt, you forgot my fucking bike’ by Kevin Bloody Wilson.
singing in the rain is not christmas, christmas needs snow.
ode to joy is not christmas, christmas is shit not joyful.
Well Singing in The Rain is in the film and that is shown every Christmas, so is it a Christmas film?
Ode to Joy is in Die Hard 3, also a Christmas film
