Yeah you’re right, it’s the same weekend

I will be making a return to UK shores next week!

Long story but my skin hasn’t been too happy in a hot and humid climate for the past 2 months and living and training in this climate plus the food and supplies available has worn thin. 2/3rd world country living is not easy at all.

I only came to spectate last time as I was nursing an injury from memory!

And this time you’re coming to play?

I need to get back on a bike and see how that goes, before I even consider…swimming :face_in_clouds:

Don’t need to train, you then get to use that as your sandbagging excuse.

It seems to work for others here…

I’d be up for the swim, would need some help to T1 but sure we can sort something.

I was thinking about doing both 113 and classic but as Im the most unfit I have been since 2017. I am struggling to enter and comitt.

Plus I have to buy a bike and get back swimming (the pool I used closed)

Whilst my (indoor) biking is fine … Long road to recovery on the running. BUT there’s light at the end of the tunnel and I’d love to rock up and get round.

No point me committing anytime soon tho

And also swimming … Whatever

I’ve been hovering on the button for a few days but the bank account is struggling this month so might wait until payday! My guess is that the first 150 have already been taken.

I did get an email about pay in 3 instalments as well.

They have.

I typed my post before going to the club swim. First swim since the 30th December. Face is burning from the chlorine… bloodly swimming :man_swimming:

**I have just entered the Classic £202.xx **

How many miles round trip from you Jeff ?
Is it a fast course ?

What year?? Don’t expect any sympathy with a 2024 reply

Nevermind the year.

Todays swim was a lightning 2:02 per 100yds. :face_with_peeking_eye:

One is faster than the other - I believe the 113 has less elevation than the classic bike course.

The one time I did the 113 I rode a road bike and went sub 2:30.

I think it’s reasonably fast for the UK, I think it’s around 600 miles round trip but planning on a break either before\after if I can get the GF to come, there’s a few places nearby to go.
