Is there a live tracker for this race or is someone’s wife/partner/child going to be granted (hallowed) access to this forum on race day?

DBMax usually do live tracking for these, yes :+1:t3:

Did you fire off an email to Graeme yesterday?

I haven’t, should I? I was hoping to find out if @Poet had been begging him to see what the chances are or if he took @GRamsay spot.

It looks like I will be cycling the 8 miles from campsite to racking on race morning as a warm up. Missus plus 2 kids will drop the tent and then head to the race mid-morning. Would there be easy access to the car park coming from the north (Cheltenham) despite road closures etc?

Spratsgate Lane will effectively be closed I think.

I don’t think you’d get into that carpark very easily. You might be able to get into Neigh Bridge car park.

I would probably drive through Ewen village, then down to Somerford Keynes and try and park somewhere there.

The Sculpture Park in Somerford Keynes is worth a visit.

As others have said, getting into that car park might be tricky, you will be turning across cyclists on the course. But the road will not be shut, depending on what time they are arriving, you might be able to get into the Beach area (for a fee) which has some facilities to keep young kids entertained. Then it’s a short walk down to the transition area.

Otherwise, you are looking for parking on the road, probably around Somerford Keynes and a short walk along the run route to the lake.

Does anyone know what refreshments - I can’t bring myself to call it fuel :grinning: - is provided on the run? Is there anything on the bike?

Run was high5 aqua gels and water from memory. There might have been something else but I can’t remember. Bike was bottles with high5 powder mix in I think.
