I left the wax pot on overnight 
Basement now stinks of smouldering wax and I’m waiting for the chain to cool down

I’m all green lighted for a trip tomorrow. I will probably head for that spot that BadAsh suggested where the bike and run converge.

Erm…as I said to @gingerbongo - it’s 0555 for those who are mass starting (all 56 of us‼️)
Right, despite what I’ve said about the stability, my ankle and instep blisters, I’m going with the AlphaFly.
The tongue on the Meta and Vaporfly will annoy me after 5km.
The Meta also have some weird patterned insole, which feels super annoying after 8km - like it’s ribbed for me pleasure 
Vaporfly bruised the balls of my feet at Staffs.
So an industrial quantity of Vaseline shall be employed 
2.5hrs after I woke up, it is now dry and sunny.
