Graeme just emailed me to say that the group entry is £173 and there’s a way to pay by BT to avoid the 4% processing charge.
Normal price is £193+4%

Epicman took my fancy as I think in ready to give a half a go (and it’s cheap!) but them shifting it to early June is a bit of a pain. This year’s in July fell during the school holidays here which would have been ideal with it being based in a holiday park.
The timing of Cotswolds would probably work for me to come last and get lapped multiple times but it’s a bloody 6hr drive.

There’s a campsite and last time we all went for a meal the night before the race. Some stayed for pizza and a pint afterwards.
If meeting us lot isn’t worth a 6 hour drive, I’m not sure what is.

2nd June seems like a popular choice with middle distance organisers. I think I’ve seen:

First three of those are very much cheap end of middle distance as well.

I’ve been given permission to do Lakesman by the boss.
I am attempting to roll the pitch for a week in a caravan/cottage in the Cotswolds in July. So will see how that lands.
