TT smackdown 2026

Guess if we did Lanza I’d probably head out solo the week before & then the teacher types fly out on race day, probably in time to offer “run course support” from an Irish pub in Puerto del Carmen.

Which is a worrying level of detail to be thinking about, when 24h ago the furthest I had in mind was Blandford park run.

Think @jeffb is to blame for starting this

Think he’s suggesting Lanza as a warm up to France. You know, as a bit of hill training.

European races aside, any UK suggestions for a 2026 TT race?

Wheezy seems fixated on Yorkshire!

Depends when for me, I should have a better idea of the year in about 4 weeks when I find out about Tokyo.

Edit: Outlaw half depending on times etc.

Torbay Sprint Tri.

Dartmoor classic to set the start order… two - three months before.

I’ve pre registered for this one. Would like to do it, will see how I feel when entries open.

I am planning the Outlaw half too, probably do Holkham too but the drive to get there puts me off.

I will enter it too but just paid for my car’s service :sob:

Hmm. 17th May? Outlaw half does seem to be shaping up as the TT smackdown race of choice. Will give it some thought. Is it at Holme Pierrepont? Did the club relays there once, that was a good day out. Bit of a trek from SW though

Did that last week. Was a great laugh.

Yes Holme Pierrepont

Tempting. Fancied Keswick Conqueror that weekend but will keep Outlaw in mind
