Turkey sandwiches

Had my first batch:

Dry bread roll, mayo, bacon, cranberry, turkey.

Was okay.

Half a bird left to go.

How do you jazz this up?

Brioche bun. Add some dijon mustard to the mayo for a bit of spice.

Not much you can do with a turkey sandwich though.

I go old school, crusty French bread, Brittany butter with salt crystals (lots of it.), vine tomato and whatever leaves you have about the place.

That’s the evenings activities sorted, but what about the turkey?

Cold run but beat the rain. Earned myself a pigs in blankets + stuffing sarnie for breakfast/lunch.

Turkey curry last night for us. That was after finishing off the gammon for lunch. I’m absolutely fucked, I’ve eaten so much over the last 4/5 days

Fry up for breakfast this morning too and we’re not due to leave the in-laws until tomorrow now

Used whole grain English as I haven’t been to the shops for the Dijon.

Noice.

I see your turkey sandwiches and raise you a mountain of Christmas dinner pasties. Immense!

WTAF are you lot doing?

Like Paul Hogan (never) once said…

You call that a sandwich?

THIS is a sandwich

(Hollowed out loaf, top cut off, layered Christmas dinner, pressed down for a day. Slice, gently pan fry each side, serve with gravy)
