I’ll be well happy if I cross the line in 1 hour, 45 mins, and I’m doing the short course, as I’m only a D cat. Always in awe of what you guys can achieve. Might have some wine at the ready for the super tuck parts.

82 mins for me.
Had a chance of my first ever FAL points but completely blew it 
Group I was in was going for 10th over Leith Hill, got a bit of a gap with one other guy but then got a bit giddy and sprinted too early 
He rolled me on the line then I was so cooked I got dropped for the descent and had to ride solo all the way to Fox Hill

Without doubt my finest Zwift race… it’s a course designed for me to do well. After the mayhem of the first climb, I settled down and went solo off the front. About and hour later, just before the final climb up Fox Hill 2 riders caught me, but I managed to hang on for a 3rd place. 92 ranking points in the bag

It’s tough that the longest flat bit of the course comes right at the end on the run in to Fox Hill, works against a solo rider

Anyone going to do the WTRL Duathlon series season 2 - starts next Weds.
PS they have a team option starting for series 2, apparently you don’t all have to do the same race there’s a few event times and the’ll still pull the team results together.
Well I did 1 hour, 35 mins in the end with a top 20 finish. Woohoo.

Always better happening at home rather than miles from anywhere too.
The last time it happened to me the chain snapped, ripped the derailleur off and the whole lot got jammed in the wheel. I tried to single speed it to get home but couldn’t get the chain to stay on for more than a few minutes so gave up and did the call of shame.
