Think that reflects just how crap I was. Sorry gents.
The Alp might be the only time I shine 🤦

That was a good ride again tonight, kudos to Adam for shrugging of the cramp then cranking it back on💪 hope you ok now Jeff

Ps who was it with the disc wheel on the buffalo bike :joy:

Yeah jazzy wheel and purple socks  Mike was styling it today

The buffalo bike and disc clearly caused some serious drag issues as I was repeatedly ejected from the pack.

I think only poet would reduce my time for style points 🤷

The Mrs overheard me confirming the sale of my Kickr. She asked me why and I had to confess to buying that new one. Dammit, she would have never noticed the difference!

Do you think our wives get together to discuss tactics?

Cheers for that gents. Thought we paced that pretty well. Was meant to be a sort of over-under session for me and ended up being over-over :grinning:
Sorry for bolting off the front when Adam had his issues. Thought we’d dropped him and this coincided with a second wind, but I ended up really needing the rest while he got back on.

Mine clearly got invited to the boys and bikes group
Tho least you don’t have to book your pain cave time slot!!

Better than that, currently have his n hers option. Not that she’s interested. But maybe one day…

Actually scrub that, I can’t think of a better way of starting an argument than racing spouse at zwift

Managed to get back up and had more food but feeling a bit rough still.

I’ll have an early night.

Sounds like a good performance though, wouldn’t care, I’ve actually been taking it easy for a race on Sunday but to try and get a decent session in tonight.

One of my mates rode the Tourmalet on a buffalo bike to raise money for charity. Aside from the weight of the thing and the gearing, it was flexing so much under power that he had to loosen the brakes off to the point that the pads wouldn’t touch the rims even if he pulled the brakes full on.

Crit race, Neokyo. 6 laps, big group of more than 50, lost concentration on lap 4, got spat off, no way back on, rolled home.

But on the sidebar I did notice some people in the group finishing with 14W/kg. How is this even a thing? I can hit 7 or 8 for a few seconds, but can’t imagine doubling that. :exploding_head:

I’d have to put out over 1000W :flushed:

Maybe it’s just yoof, my youngest can just about hit 1000W aged 17. Not here as a “more experienced gentleman” though :face_vomiting:

You guys don’t have the 1.21 Gigawatt badge for pushing over 1200W?

Disappointing

Haha, yeah for about 2 seconds and not after 30 minutes of eating my handlebars :joy:
