I was on Zwift at 8pm last night and lots of people were kicking off about not being able to get into TdZ rides. One of my mates did the 8pm TdZ and there was over 2000 people on the ride.
It sounds like Zwift was creaking a bit under the strain of so many users at the same time

I’ll get dropped on that climb I’d imagine. But hopefully the big lads who can out-sprint me will too.
What is it, about 2.5km at 3%? I’m thinking a good strategy would be aim to hold close to 5 minute max power & then hope to recover a bit in a group once over the top, before final sprint in the last 300 or 400m?

5m power starts half way up the climb, drop them, continue to finish. Muster your sprint.

Went ok in the end, imagine my surprise though when a group ride on zwift turned into a race! 860 or so in the Bs at start time, 80-odd-th over the line and 56/441 on ZP @ 3.5w/kg.
Just noticed that the categories are splt by length of course not ability

Yeah. Cats in TdZ are the same every year 
They went through all of this on the warm up rides.
Also, they’re not a race.
