Yes, the hot extract scene is military porn to be fair.

Apparently the gun boat bit was filmed on the SEALs training ground and they used live ammo.

Those mini guns with the surround sound turned up to 11 :love_you_gesture:

There’s a shirt for that

Just a quick one, TT1.0 has been shut down for 10 days now and no one has complained so I will go about destroying the server later today! Unfortunately once its gone its gone, there is no return as the versions of SQL and PHP are so old you couldn’t replace them even if you wanted to! the scrape is on archive.tritalk.co.uk still but as you will see its not perfect!

Don’t worry, most of it is in my internal (grey matter) server

How is the reptile fund looking now ( bonus points for those who can name the book/film reference)? I’m always happy to put some money in the kitty if required.

10 points to you. Which one ? Guinness or Oldman? I like them both actually. Some sticklers scoff at the Oldman version but it is very good.

Dad level knowledge coming up. At the Christmas party when they start playing the Russian national anthem, the first person to stand up is John Le Carre the man himself.

ETA- happens to be my favourite book as well.

Guinness.

Great supporting cast in that. Benedict Cumberbatch, Toby Jones, Kieran Hinds, Stephen Gramam, Mark Strong, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, John Hurt, Kathy Burke.

I wish they had made the whole Karla trilogy, but The Honorable Schoolboy is so dull I dont think you can make an interesting film out of it.

Le Carres books are like that, a great one, a poor one, a great one, a poor one.

The Spy Who Came In From the Cold with Richard Burton is a good film. Great book as well.

His later stuff was weak, but the Smiley era books are really good.

We are fine, costs been cut quite a bit, 20usd give or take and must have a good year of funds in PayPal still. A few pairs of £250 Nikes using the affiliate link will help also

We don’t need a reptile fund; we just send @Mungo2 out to do the wet work.
