Tri X 2019. Took me 18 hours, in my defence M’Lud/Lady/They it took the winner 14 hours.

Another extreme someday, hmmmmm, jury’s out, I’m not getting any younger (no shit sherlock) :rofl:

I’ve only done one normal IM (TLD IN 2005).

Never liked the distance really, too long to race for normal people and too short for a proper adventure.

Moved quickly onto Norseman and OtillO, much better. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’ve done 1 and have one dnf half way through the marathon :frowning: I trained so hard for Roth and then my asthma got so bad on the run, and then I fell over and pulled the tendons on the top of my foot. If it wasn’t for my asthma spoiling things, I might have done more. But it made me realise, no matter how hard I train, my asthma will always be a hindering factor - and I have to admit, I am one of those people who love to train, but don’t like racing :woman_shrugging:

but real trafleets do Forestman, Bastion (OK DNF) and ride and run around grotty trading estates overnight

I was in this club July 2010 to September 2012.

Very definitely one and done……but then they launched Ironman Wales and the footage of 2011….well I just had to​:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I wonder how I would fare these days…although that said, my breathing settles down on the rare occasions I try and cover any distance these days…

I actually always preferred the events; well until about 120km into the bike :joy:

Definitely preferred Oly/HIM races.
