2020 Goals

My goals are simple…

  1. Family stuff.
  2. Try to work through cancer fatigue better and get fitter.
  3. Having spent the best part of a year reading widely, I will be transitioning over to maths. Back to basics. Got myself a n4 school book to start, before moving up to advanced higher (gcse and A levels). Why? Why not!
  4. Try not to lose the little French I built up.
  5. See if I can beat my 10% chance of cancer taking me this year!

Fantasy land…travel the world in comfort.

Most scuppered by Covid, this years will be similar if less specific.

I’d give yourself 4.5.

It’s no small thing to have ended the year happy.

Thanks

I did actually complete a 10 mile tt!

So the 4.5 stands, I had entered and paid for a sportive in March ?, just as the pandemic was. Going but my Doris asked me not to go, the only time ever … so I didn’t.

I’ll do my 2021 targets later, well done today

Especially when goals changed throughout the year. Eg I’ll bet the self-supported IMUK feels like a win now?

It was an experience… we totally ran out of food with 9 miles left to run, looking in bins during a global pandemic is probably not recommended …!

His wife turned up literally just in time.

It was a good day.

Didnt manage to achieve a single one of my goals. Only one I can really put down to COVID (cycling to and from the station).

My main objective was to keep being happy and cycle an average of 4 times a week.
When Covid hit, I thought the cycling target was out as bike commuting basically stopped but, to my surprise I changed my approach and did more rides of generally shorter distance and hit the 4 rides / week target. 208 rides vs previous best of 169.

And I’m happy … so 2/2 which is nearly 90%. I’ll take that.

I think I might just aim to keep happy in 2021. Go on a 6 day cycling trip would be a stretch target

Nearly 90%, in that it’s 100%? Can’t argue with the logic or the maths, chapeau👍
