Bloody snowing now innit

It didn’t go well

Sub 20.
Just.
And a pulled hamstring from a slip

Good sandbagging, plenty of scope for improvement.

Snowing
Old 4% shoes
Had a few ales last night

I ran an 18:45 in Sep/Oct, which would be my last fast session. I’d done no speedwork for months for that either (March 2020, IIRC?)
I find it funny when people say this, when what is almost certainly actually meant is you just tinged, or over extended, your hamstring but no real damage. If you really had pulled your hamstring you wouldn’t be using those emojis!
As someone who ended my team sports “career” with chronic hamstring problems, even a minor strain is no running for a number a weeks. A proper “pull”, or tear, is conceivably months.

Nice weather though! I like the actually snowing period of time. It’s the aftermath when it all becomes compacted ice that takes weeks to melt away that I hate
Yeah - just a slight twinge from over extending.
I’ve been injured once and never again.

A total fraud?
What you sayin???
What’s fraudulent about this elevation?
(I got the start wrong, I had to run uphill for the closing 50m or so!)
Should have used skis…!
