Seeing as I was here I just did Tenby Swimathon. First ever 5k. Actually quite enjoyed it strangely. Time passed really quickly unlike most pool swims. Was a bit disappointed to turn up and find it was a high sided pool, and from 1-2k it was really looking like being a long day as my pace was certainly slowing. But strangely, just before halfway, I seemed to find something from somewhere and sped up quite a bit. Must have been a 20+ second negative split.
Lap counter called me finished 2 lengths early, but told here I had two more to do. Finished with an official time of 1:24:39. Pleased with that
