I’ve got Dalesman Half and Helvellyn
Just seen Dalesman Half, but only Saturday registration, so that’s a firm no from me.
I’m not free Helvellyn weekend
Which would’ve been my first choice.
(Now I’ve remembered how to grit out a finish )
£179 for what is essentially a “grassroots” event
~50 finishers in 2020 and 2019…
…mind you, looking at the Top 3 from last year, my name pretty much guarantees a podium finish
I did see that but I haven’t run further than 14km this year and the sprint is priced reasonably
Think the half is full, I’m considering the quarter.
Half Dalesman is back open (limited entries)
Just checked
There are a couple of sprints near us, but one is “no dogs on site” which is also a no from me.
As I’d only do a sprint if my wife and daughter can come - they only take an hour, so still have the whole day.
Go on, what were the top 3’s names? Wordsworth, Byron and Shelley?
Must have just added them today as it was closed last night!
well done Pacha
Tom/Thomas
I you fancy an Olympic distance there is one at Eton Dorney at the end of August, very flat, £76.
If I fancy riding, running or swimming anywhere Near a rowing lake at any point in the future, feel free to shoot me with a bow and arrow.
Ah that works too.
(the name Tom, not the bow and arrow)
My running club has 5 blokes aged 45-60 called Nick, the rest are mainly called Ian or Graham as my son likes to point out. On the odd occasions when he comes along and wants to ask a question he just picks one of those names at random.
So is that a no?
Anyone feels like following me for the next few days, my latest act of craziness. Set off from Andermatt at 0800 tomorrow
Jesus christ
Not only the distance but bloody hell the elevation on that
Best of luck. You have an idea on your target time?
Nice! You camping then I assume, with support from the race? Or is it a self sufficient type job?
Does that involve the F***erpass by any chance?
Hope you get chance to post some photos, can’t imagine how stunning the scenery will be
Good luck
IM fee paltry compared to this… £15 and a half grand entry fee anyone? Wtaf
If they post the route - I’m sure you could just do it with a mate, be driven to the various start points and just take the piss out of all the idiots spending 15K
