Bloody hell!!!
What an epic race
Bloody hell!!!
What an epic race
You are in a massive brownie point deficit by my reckoning- grant write up and well done!
Great summary @Doonhamer!
What a race and what a report! Sounds like a great adventure.
Nicola seems like a keeper, to put it mildly
We really should have a Sherpa appreciation thread !!
An amazing sounding race and great write up @Doonhamer
What a sight that must have been. Fire engine and flares to show the way in a dark cold lake
Sounds like you did yourself proud
I hope the flashing lights didn’t obscure Venus in the sky and ruin your sighting.
Great report.
Sounds like a great race @Doonhamer
Really enjoyed reading that @Doonhamer Sounds like a great event.
Cheers Guys, it was an incredible event. I’d recommend it.
You’re all quite right that my wife is an absolute saint. That pontoon was exciting enough to cross during the day never mind never mind trying to take on a never ending parade of pumped up triafleeeets.
A couple more shots of the swim start so @Adam knows what to expect
They normally put out a wee video of the event that captures the vibe pretty well. Thatcshould be coming out in a week or two.
Bonkers
Loved reading that @Doonhamer. Congratulations on a superb result.
Great race report and awesome result
Looks like a war! Fantastic
I have entered a local sprint tri on Sunday
Looks about as grassroots as they come.
400m/22km/5km
Planning to reccy the route on Saturday, it’s a bit lumpy and the run is off road.
Question, will I look like a spanner if I pitch up on P2 with disc wheel cover? I reckon >50% of the field will be novices on MTBs
own it
Nope.
Go there and smash it
You will look a total numpty if you aren’t on the podium
Our local Tri is pitched as “novice”.
400/15.5k/5k
I think 48 mins is now needed to get close to winning it 🤷
Edit 46 mins
I assumed you mean Erewash?
It was for the first few years, then all of TFN rocked up and now the fast boys still do it.
Who was the last Winner?
