Nicely paced @jeffb, sounds like the old bull, young bull story
What have you got next weekend?

It’s a standard duathlon at Derwent Reservoir (Durham), run is a bit trail I think and bike is undulating. More a bit of fun really.
Looking forward to it as I haven’t raced since June
Brilliant work @jeffb!
Yesterday I did a 5 mile mixed terrain race, managed 13th overall in 34.
If I wasn’t 1/2-1 Stone overweight, I’d have smashed through the hills.
I feel your pain .
nice
Local community fun run at Allianz Park/Stone X. Mrs JGav was 1st woman in the 10k setting a PB in the process
Have you done the North London half marathon that started (or indeed finished) at Allianz stadium?
Never did it. Think it was last run in 2017
Just got sent a link to the Frog Whitton, looks interesting.
I also tried to interest some mates in the Itera Scotland event and they said
It looks a really fun thing to do.
Duathlon for me tomorrow, bit on the cold side for my like so will probably overheat on the 1st run and freeze on the bike as a result looking forward to it though, but only taking the road bike.
Are you all ready @leahnp ?
Packed and ready to rock and roll. I have various clothing combinations to counter the cool weather. Hoping it will be little brighter than it has been here
Been thinking and the best combo for me will be arm warmers that I can roll down on the run and gloves.
It’s been grey and overcast here all week and I’m expecting the same tomorrow AM, it’s likely to be around 13 at that time of the morning so T1 will be a challenge knowing what to wear, I’ll probably wear a base layer and put a L\S top on and some gloves.
But I’m also taking a few options. Hopefully it will stay dry which is what I’m more concerned about.
Have a good race both of you
Dominate the dojo
Best of luck gents
Anyone watching IM Switzerland? Joe in 2nd
I heard them mention it on the Roth commentary. Hadn’t realised it was even on.
Something seems funky with the swim, 38 minutes!
