Had a less than ideal quiet week or so in the lead up to this.
Last time I touched a bike was 10 days ago!! At least I should be feeling fresh
Back in the lake tonight, couple of days easy riding, little jog and perhaps a swim in Chase water on Saturday

Did consider it.
Roughly 2hrs 40 mins and ~150 odd miles away
Donāt want to have to do that 4 times over two days.
Iāll take my chances, double lock the door, sleep in my clothes with one eye open

Ha ha ha - I did a 30 min jog and was utterly soaked
I had planned a mini jog later. Not sure I can be arsed.
The lake was lovely though. Well apart from being a bit brown and murky.
Some faff with a split transition. Quite a bit to remember.
T1 blue bag, middle rack on the left near the front
Bike, middle rack on right second section
T2 bike drop, 6th rack on the right, blue Staffordshire poster on the left
T2 red bag, middle rack on the right near the end.
What could possibly go wrong?
