Water or black coffee fine but not anything that promotes an insulin response.
Water, black coffee or tea without milk - apparently you can have a little bit of coconut oil green tea
supposed to accelerate something
jury’s out on diet sodas isn’t it? Bone broth everyone bangs on about - I have no idea - and some replacement salts in water possibly
Cheers.
I’d be interested to try it but I’m not sure I’ve got the will power
… at this rate, soon the forum will change its name to HippyTalk
I think electrolytes would be a reasonable shout if youre drinking water and not eating.
I do remember something about diet soda triggering an insulin response.
Same. I’m intrigued, but I simply like food too much and hate feeling hungry.
Yeah, doesn’t take much for me to go searching for food
I’ve inadvertently had a fasted day today. Skipped post run breakfast as usual and through fuckwittery missed lunch too. Spent the afternoon on a distillery tour and have drunk far too much on an empty stomach. Dinner is going to get smashed!
80.9Kg. Slowly heading in the right direction.
With my ankle fubared I took the opportunity to not eat anything until 1pm
We are in Costa at Solstice on the way Mums ( I know it’s shot but it’s become a ‘thing’)
I’m eating a ham and cheese toastie, hot cross bun and a bucket of coffee.
Birthday calories don’t count right?
87.7 today so still heading the right way.
8.9kg off this year, stalled a little in March.
Mallorca 312 is 3 weeks today, maybe get close to 85.
Happy Birthday To You
(or whoever is having the birthday )
Thanks mate, made it to Granny’s, so I suspect an ‘ample’ dinner will be consumed tonight
many happies!
Post holiday 76.2. The consumption of those additional couple of kilos was dead enjoyable. I suspect getting rid of them, not so much.

87.6kg
I’m starting to think this whole problem is lockdown/home working. I’m just not spending the same amount of energy even with all the additional training each day as I essentially stay in the house. Would align/explain the slow weight gain over two years as well.
Homeworking sure but I’m guessing it’s the proximity to the fridge thats the trouble rather than the training .
For me it’s also the total inactivity at home. I’ll just sit at the desk and not move for hours on end.
In work (pre covid) I was walking across campus to different meetings all day long. That movement deffo helped keep me more mobile.
140.1 kg. Its gone up. Call me names.
I was on holiday but thats not really a good enough excuse.
