I’m with you on this theory! I used to walk a whole lot more when I had to go into office.

Walk to and from the bus stop added a 2 miles a day. All the walking/moving around at work as well. I’m definitely less active.

Still happy never to see the place again if I can avoid it!

Good news, down to 13 stone 3. Lightest I’ve been in a year.

Bad news, I was hoping to be under 13 stone, and lent ends tomorrow (given up chocolate).

Lent ends in 1h 20min.

My wife bought a box of crispy cremes for my daughter two days ago. This morning she said I could have them.

Must…

Resist…

After a week of watching what I eat and a few months away from the scales, this morning I am 80.6Kg.

Pleased with this, should be easy enough to duck under 80 and from there I’ll aim to get down to as close to 70 as possible for Cotswolds in July.

This is pretty much me (and I suspect others on here). We’re all fit but I fall into the ‘all or nothing’ when WFH. I’m either training or doing nothing at all. There seems to be very little middle ground.

Hovering around mid 70:x kg, decent position. Bit of gannetry over Easter but a disciplined 3/4 weeks from now will see a decent race weight for the Outlaw Half.

WFH I have no problems with ‘moving’, the spells sitting at desk are the same as in the office and I’ll get my workouts done. But fridge grazing is a big issue; office I can restrict what I eat in the working day by just not having it available. WFH and the hinges on the fridge need cooling as I’m opening the door so often…

Well i am very fearful for my waistline at the mo, with 5 more days of all inclusive.

There’s just so much food on offer and I flippin love eating. I’m not going full piggy, and I’m not constantly drinking or anything. But I’m deffo consuming a lot more than I would at home - including lots of cheese and meat and bread.

I’m trying to ride the line of enjoying myself, I am on holiday after all, but not being (too) gluttonous!

Every time I go to Mum’s for a week I say the same thing. It’s usually an epic fail.

Not sure where you are but can you not pack some steady runs in just to offset the gluttony a bit?

The problem I have is in downtime in an office I would go a for a wander and find some people to annoy for a bit. Whereas at home the temptation is to just go and have a lie down and flick through my phone.

On the other hand however now with my wife being in an office 4 days and me being at home Im the one primarily walking the dog so getting some good movement there. I’ve already done 7500 steps today.

Im still fat because I still eat and drink too much.

I am trying a 24 hour fast. Ate dinner last night and not eating again till tonight. Next week will try a 36 hour fast. Then might try intermittent fasting. Need to do something different

I don’t drink a lot on holiday but I do get my money’s worth on the food.
One of my rules is, if there are multiple flavours of icecream at dinner I have to have a scoop of each in case that flavour is never there again. #FOMO

My whole life is basically all or nothing. I train 15 hours a week, or I do fuck all. I dont drink at all, or I drink it all. I eat like an athlete, or I eat a pig

Yep, another one for the club here. One of my issues is if I miss a workout for some legit reason I’m prone to saying “Oh f*ck it, I’ll skip the rest of this week and start again Monday” at which point I stuff my face for the rest of the week and start Monday half a stone heavier.

Sounds familiar.

I heard this analogy once with regards to weight loss. Think of an over indulgence like spilling a bit of wine of your shirt, it’s a mistake but it’s not made better by pouring the rest of the bottle on.

It’s the bipolar weight loss club here
