Yeah it looks good. I don’t think I’ve done a multi day running event before. Closest to this would be Tenby LCW. It will interesting to see how it goes.
Doing it with a mate from work who is 20yrs my junior. He’s the same one that was going to Comrades this year but got injured over Xmas and just had to take too much time out.
Also, one of my Monday night running mates has done it, so I can pick his brains. Stephen Cousins did a film about it.

there also used to be a short lived PCC - Pembrokeshire Coast Challenge. I was lucky enough to do one of these. Oh and I was 3rd :trophy: :3rd_place_medal:(sorry, couldn’t resist )

Yeah i saw that. Very low numbers though. Went within a mile of my childhood home and finished a few miles away.

Got my eyes on a stab at the PC FKT one day if it stays as it is.

How was the organisation, shuttle buses etc, smooth operation?

First race of the year on Sunday, I’m 3 months behind on my training, fat and still notice an elevated HR after covid. This is going to hurt

Which one is it? Good luck

Thanks, a sprint du in Carlisle so it will be interesting if the knee holds up. Just glad the trisuit has a bit of stretch

I’ve got my eye on the one near Bamburgh in a couple of weeks, but equally fat & unfit so still procrastinating about it. Especially as the bike is about 49K

I’ll be there.

I’ve got a sprint duathlon on Sunday as well at Harlech. I think it’s the Welsh Champs, not sure if there are prize cats for really old fellas.

I wouldn’t have booked up if I’d realised the clocks go forward. Means getting up at the equivalent of 4am…for a fucking sprint duathlon :man_facepalming:.

3 from our club are doing the tri, so you might at least start off dry in your race. I did the tri about 8 years ago and it got cancelled just as I was finishing the bike and couldn’t do the run. A friend got blown off his bike into a ditch the wind was so bad. The day before was glorious weather. I’ve done it since when you have to ride up to the castle and also ‘run’ up to it. A great venue for a sprint, if you like hills.

I don’t suppose any TT’ers fancy a free entry for Milton Keynes marathon (1st May)?

Peroneal tendon injury has scuppered training, have only run once since the start of Feb :sob:

Able to transfer until the end of the month. Frequently rated top 10 fastest UK marathons. Shame to go to waste
